Golf

Two legendary courses. Thirty-six thrilling holes. The championship-caliber greens and fairways are superbly designed and offer exceptional conditions. The lush and varied Hawaiian topography makes for a scenic tour through ironwood forests and oceanfront greens. This is golf at its finest.

The Arnold Palmer Course—a par-72, 6,225-yard, 18-hole championship golf course—was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. It is a treat for the senses. The front nine holes evoke images of the Scottish links with its water, wind, and rolling hills. The back nine meanders through stands of ironwood pine and a wetlands bird sanctuary. The Palmer Course is a stop on the annual PGA Championship Tour.

The George Fazio Course—a par-72, 6,083-yard 18-hole golf course—boasts sculptural greens, expansive fairways, and deep bunkers. The course is George Fazio’s only course in Hawaii. The course has hosted the LPGA Tour's Hawaiian Open and was the site of the first Senior Skins Game, which included Arnold Palmer, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Gary Player, and Sam Sneed.

What a wonderful spot of paradise! This was our first trip to Hawaii and we feel lucky to have stumbled on the best way to experience it. We loved the spaciousness and layout of HALE KAI. The views from the villa are incredible. We enjoyed the gorgeous beach, which was perfect for sunbathing and watching the surfers. And there’s nothing better than a walk around the golf course in the morning to work up an appetite for breakfast in the villa.
