Hale Kai is all about getting lost: lost in luxury, serenity, and all that is tropical. The setting is magical, with flaming tiki torches on the grounds in the evening, the sumptuous villa furnishings, and the ever-present sight and sounds of the ocean. It was the perfect vacation venue for us—the solitude we were seeking combined with the amenities and activities of a resort. The miles of empty beach provided the opportunity for swimming and snorkeling, and long walks without any other person in sight. We have stayed at villas in many different countries and this is our favorite, both in location and the personal attention the owners have paid to the details and amenities. The combination of the privacy of a villa and the resort close by is the perfect blend. Jan and John Troha |
